If you were seeing this message when signing in your email — “Your sign-in settings don’t meet your organization's 2-Step Verification policy” — means your account hasn’t yet met the new mandatory 2-Step Verification (2-SV) requirement.

 

This security policy was announced on September 25, 2025 (see: IT Security Announcement – Mandatory 2-Step Verification). I’ve temporarily postponed full enforcement, but it will take effect after midnight tonight.

 

You’ll need to complete the setup before the end of today to avoid losing access to your SJSM email, Moodle, and SJSM Central tomorrow.

Steps to Fix

  1. On your PC, go to https://myaccount.google.com/security.
  2. Under "Signing in to Google", click 2-Step Verification.
  3. Select Get started and follow the steps to enable 2SV.
    • Recommended: Use Google Authenticator or Backup codes for reliability.
  4. After setup, sign out and back in to confirm access.
